Community Guidelines
Ability Forums is an inclusive and diverse community supporting the disAbility community. Please thoroughly review the community guidelines.
  1. Hate Speech & Bullying - We have a zero tolerance policy in regards to hate speech, bullying, and trolling of any kind. Hate speech or bullying of any kind on the basis of race, ethnicity, disability, background, nationality, sexual orientation, gender, or financial circumstances will not be tolerated. We strive to maintain the inclusivity and diversity of our community and that starts with respect for one another.
  2. Age Limit - In order to be a member of Ability Forums, you must be 14-years of age or older. If you are under the age of 18 you must have parental consent. No exceptions.
  3. Sharing of Personal Information - Do not share any personally identifying information on either public forum threads, or through private message unless you have administrator or moderator approval in advance. This ensures the safety of all members, especially members of our community who are minors (18-years of age or younger). Personal information includes your password, phone number, mailing address, email address, and your social media (Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, TikTok etc.). Under no circumstances are you ever to share your password or email address with anyone! The admin and moderators will NEVER ask you for your password.
  4. Common Sense - Use your common sense when sharing or commenting. We understand that not everyone has the the same opinion on matters, that is okay. However, use your common sense and if you feel like you may offend someone, consider the feelings and viewpoint of the person that you are replying to.
  5. Spamming & Advertising - Spamming and advertising is strictly prohibited with the following exception. The exception to this rule is sharing a resource, organization, or cause that is specific to the disability community. If you are unsure of this before posting, please contact the admin for guidance. We would be happy to help.
