How has Covid been in your schools?

Hi. I have been teaching special education for 31 years now and in all of those years, I had never taught through such a challenging year. The teachers in my district have been dropping like flies; the morale is low, and the students have been regressing. What concerns me the most is how much this pandemic has affected my special education (LD) students. We have been teaching hybrid, and then off and on again when we get an outbreak in the school.
What has your experience been like in your district?

My district has been handling this pandemic very poorly. It seems like politics is more important than the interests of the kids. It's a shame honestly.
I think that most teachers are in the same boat, or at least were at the beginning....
